Spirituality at Hillwood Meditation Centre, Tasmania
Before it caught the attention of researchers and health professionals, meditation was mostly associated with religions such as Hinduism and Christianity, philosophies such as Buddhism, and spiritual activities such as trying to communicate with spirits or tuning into nature and ancestors. The Hillwood Road Meditation Skills Centre caters equally for those who are interested in meditation for spiritual reasons and those who are interested in meditation for relaxation, health or performance. Steph has a broad general knowledge of how meditation can be used for religious or spiritual purposes and is familiar with theories about chakras, psychic development, exorcism and spiritual healing.
Spiritual getaways / Retreats
Whenever there is a vacancy in the accommodation, you are welcome to stay as a spiritual getaway. You can just enjoy the peaceful environment or you can make use of the Meditation Meetings or other services as part of your spiritual journey. Please let Steph know if you would like to have a silent meditation retreat while you are staying in the accommodation. She can provide guidance or supervision if needed, and she can help to ensure that you're not interrupted. There is more information about retreats here.

Steph is happy to talk to you about your spiritual concerns or any experiences you perceive as mystic or psychic experiences. About half the Australian population believes in God and/or paranormal experiences, and about a third of the population has felt like they have sensed a spirit or ghost. Steph believes we need to be talking about these beliefs and experiences as we try to understand ourselves and search for inner peace. Counselling is available with Steph at her premises in Hillwood for $80 per hour. Please contact her to arrange a time that suits you.
